Itinerary
Relax and enjoy the sights as we travel on our personal luxury coach through Pennsylvania and New York to our hotel in Ottawa. Along the way we will have rest stops & a lunch stop. Upon reaching Ottawa City we will check into our hotel, the Ottawa Marriott Hotel, the evening is yours free.
Following breakfast, we will explore Ottawa, Canada's capital, with a tour led by a local guide. We'll learn about the rich history and highlights of Canada's capital city. Our tour will end at Canada’s Parliament Hill, the Gothic Revival-style Centre Block, site of the country’s Senate, House of Commons, and Library of Parliament. The remainder of the afternoon if yours free.

Today, enjoy your free day to take in all that Ottawa has to offer. See its famous landmarks, including the ByWard Market, take a Canal Cruise on the Rideau Canal - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Discover world-class museums – known as the museum capital of Canada, there is no shortage of museums in this great city: Aviation and Space Museum, National Gallery, The Canadian Museum of History, Canadian War Museum, and many more… Whatever you choose to do you won't be disappointed.

Today we say goodbye to Ottawa and travel to Quebec City, one of the most historic and best-preserved cities in North America. It is steeped in history, culture, and natural beauty. The city is European in style and is the only fortified city on the continent north of Mexico. It has stunning Old World architecture, and a vibrant music and arts scene.
Upon arriving we’ll stop first at Montmorency Falls where you will have time to explore this natural beauty. At 275 feet high, Montmorency Falls is 99 feet higher than Niagara Falls. You can view the waterfalls from the bottom, from the top, from paths along the side, and even from above, on a bridge that crosses them a top. Following our visit to the Falls we will check into our hotel in Old Quebec, Hotel Clarendon. This evening, enjoy regional French cuisine at one of the amazing restaurants in Old Town Québec.

Follow breakfast, and led by a local guide, we’ll take a walking tour of the UNESCO-recognized Old Quebec City for an in-depth and fun historical overview. After the tour the rest of the day is yours free. The best way to see the numerous historic buildings and experience the city's unique French culture is to take a leisurely walk through the enchanting, cobbled streets, and narrow laneways.
Don't miss a visit to the Château Frontenac, the Basilica, the 400-year-old Augustine’s Monastery, Petit-Champlain - one of the oldest shopping streets in North America or explore the shops and marina of Old Port. Québec City retains more than 400 years of tradition, architecture, and Old-World charm.

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Citadel of Québec for a group tour. Also known as La Citadelle, the Citadel is an active military installation located atop Cap Diamant in Quebec City. It serves as the secondary official residence of both the governor general of Canada and the Canadian Monarch. Built from 1820 to 1831, it is North America’s only historic fortress that is still militarily active and the largest military installation of its kind on the continent.
Following the tour of the Citadel, the remainder of the day is yours. Near the Citadel is the famous Plains of Abraham, a national battlefield that served as the site of a defining 1759 conflict between France and Britain during the Seven Years’ War.

Following breakfast we say goodbye to Old Quebec and travel to Montreal. Enroute we will take in the stunning countryside views as we travel along the Trans Canadian Highway. This predominantly French-speaking city sits on an island in the St. Lawrence River.
Upon reaching our hotel, SpringHill Suites Old Montreal, our luggage will be stored until our rooms are ready. We’ll meet our local guide for a walking tour of Old Montreal, visiting the renowned Notre-Dame Basilica, an architectural landmark built in the Gothic-Revival style. Your tour will end in Old Montreal where the remainder of the day is yours to explore the city at leisure.

Today, enjoy a full free day in Montreal. Visit the Olympic site, the Biodome, the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, Mt. Royal Park, Casino, or the underground city, the day is yours. Old Montreal is home to some of the city’s most beautiful and oldest buildings. Montreal City Hall, Marche Bonsecours, and the Notre Dame Basilica are a few of the main attractions, dating back as far as the 17th century. The gothic style of architecture will seriously make you question if you are in North America or Europe. Filled with cobblestone streets, delicious French bakeries, and historic buildings, Old Montreal is a little slice of Europe in North America! Hit the sights or simply sip on a cafe latte or a glass of wine while sitting out on a patio watching the world go by.

Today we bid farewell to our neighbors to our North. After breakfast we'll return to the Lehigh Valley via our personal luxury coach, making rest stops and a lunch stop along the way.
